In recent times consolidation of BI tools/products has spread to related technologies, also there is a significant change in the way BI is perceived and used. Major BI vendors have aligned themselves to this shift, and have changed the way they develop/market BI Products. Their approach and emphasis now, is biased towards complete BI and PM environment, and pre-packaged Analytics. Hence there is a need for corporations to reconsider their BI strategy.
